Playing at the Park

We enjoyed the awesome weather we had today by taking the kids to the park. Cian is still too small for the infant swings, but he had a good time watching the big kids play. Kaden and Kasia had fun running wild on the play equipment.

Christmas 2009

We celebrated Christmas in Colorado with my family. I think it was one of the best Christmas' I have ever had. Having 3 kids we decided it would be easier to drive than fly. I know this seems crazy considering the distance, but it is really nice being able to stop when ever you want and take breaks and also having your own car once you get there. We left on Sunday the 20th andspent the night at Grandma Mae's in Johnson. Kaden and Kasia really enjoyed exploring her house. The next morning we drove the rest of the way to Mom and Dad's house in the mountains. Heidi, David, Payton, and Avery were already out there. It is so much fun watching the kids play together. This is the first time Avery and Kasia have really played together. Normally Kasia hangs out with the big kids. Cian was a big hit with my sister. She really enjoyed holding and playing with him. He really is hard to resist. On Tuesday the 22nd my Grandma Mae and Grandpa and Grandma Nelson all arrived. It was awesome getting to hang out with all of my grandparents and watching them with the kids. Grandpa showed Kaden how to tie some really cool knots with rope and chased all of the kids around the house. It was a wonderful week full of special memories.

5 Months

Cian turned 5 months on the 29th of December. He is constantly learning new things. He still loves his swing, but is quickly outgrowing it. He weighs over 20 pounds and is apx. 27 1/2 inches. He fills out his 12 month clothes. He loves to smile and laugh and watch his brother and sister play.
