Cub Scout Family Camp Out

Caleb, Kaden, and Kasia went to Robber's Cave State Park for cub scouts last month. Cian hadn't been feeling well, so we had to stay home. These are just a few of the pics that they took while they were there.

Kasia was the only person to catch anything. She caught a shoe!

Magical Brooms

My kids thought it was so cool that our brooms "magically" stood all by themselves. One stood for more than 12 hours before Kasia knocked it down.

Outdoor Fun

I took these pictures of Kasia and Cian the end of August. The kids love playing in our backyard on the play set.

Branson, MO

We went to Branson with my parents last month for our 10th anniversary. My parents anniversary is the day before ours, so we were also able to celebrate theirs while we were there. Our trip included two days of mini golf, boating/tubing, Silver Dollar City, the Showboat Branson Belle, and of course lots of swimming. While at Silver Dollar City, Kasia was able to ride the Powder Keg roller coaster twice. I still can't believe she was tall enough to ride. It was very intense for a 4 year old. She is so fearless. Kaden opted out of riding it. The kids had a blast. It was definitely a good way to end summer vacation.

I just had to include a picture of Kasia's Twinkle Toes. She begged and begged for them all summer.

First Day of K4

Kasia started her second year of pre-school on the 19th. She has several friends from last year in her class. I think this is going to be an awesome year. They are supposed to dress up as princess' and princes on Thursday. They are having a Royal Breakfast to celebrate that they are all children of God.

First Day of 3rd Grade

Kaden started third grade on the 18th. I can't believe that he is actually old enough to be in the third grade. I remember taking him to pre-k. Now he is learning multiplication. After two days of taking him to and picking him up from school (and 3 years of listening to him beg) we started letting Kaden ride the bus. The best part is that the bus picks him up right in front of my house.
