Baby Update!!!

Caleb and I went to the hospital today. I was not feeling good and had high blood pressure. After a long time in triage my doctor decided to move up induction date to tomorrow at 5 am. They are going to start me on small dose of pitocin tonight at midnight and full strength at 5. Hopefully by noon (or earlier) we have a new addition to the family. Mom and Dad brought the kids by for a few minutes earlier. They are both really excited about their brother. I'll get pictures uploaded as soon as I get home later this week.

Well, the 26th has come and gone and Cian is still not here. We saw the dr again this morning and it is looking like he is definetly going to be born on the 30th. We are really excited. Well, I don't have anything else to report. Check back Thursday or Friday.

Date set!!!

I saw my dr. this morning and we finally have an induction date set. We are scheduled to go to the hospital at 5 am next Thursday the 30th unless Cian decides to come early or I have complications. I am so excited to only have one week left. Bed rest really isn't fun. We see the dr. again next Monday. If anything changes I will try to update. Personally we are still hoping for Sunday the 26th.

Well, I can officially say that bed rest stinks. I am already really bored. I can only take so much tv and books. I also can't stand not being able to do stuff with the kids. I am scheduled to see my dr. on Monday. Hopefully we will have a definite date then. I personally don't think he will let me go a lot longer. My bp is going to continue to be an issue and I also have very low platelet count. I will try and update Monday after we find more out.

Home!!

I was discharged from the hospital about 20 mins. ago. Hopefully we don't have to go back for a week or two. I am really looking forward to being back in my bed and I really miss the kids. The only disappointing thing is that I have to be on strict bed rest.

Hospital

I went to the hospital yesterday after lunch because I was feeling nauseous and had high blood pressure. It turns out I was also having small contractions 2-3 mins apart. They started me on fluids to try and stop the contractions. so far it has helped. I am doing some 24 hr testing and hoping that as long as blood pressure stays good I will be able to go home Wed. morning.

Update

Well, I go in for a biophysical profile and drs. appt. on Thursday afternoon. I am hoping that one of these visits we set an induction date. We are tentatively looking at August 6th, but I really think that Cian will be here sooner. Two weeks ago my doctor said we would schedule it for either 2-3 weeks early. August 6th would be two weeks and July 30th three weeks. I am personally hoping for the earlier date. Actually it would be really cool if he decided to come on July 26th. Kaden was born on Aug. 26 and Kasia May 26th. Wouldn't that be cool. Not real likely though.

4th of July

We spent Saturday afternoon/evening at Caleb's parents house in Nowata. Kaden loved all of his small day fireworks. Once he was done with his cars, etc. he spent the rest of the afternoon blowing them up with firecrackers. Kasia enjoyed her poppers the most. That evening we finished up with our big night fireworks. It was a beautiful evening despite a small sprinkling of rain. We were also able to sit back and enjoy Nowata and other towns firework displays.

Skull Hollow Trail - Oolagah Lake

We found this neat trail while driving around Oolagah Lake yesterday looking at campsites. We didn't follow very much of the trail, but did stay on it long enough to get to this really pretty overlook of the lake. The kids had a lot of fun.
