Baby Shower

Swimming Lessons

Now that Kasia is three she is finally able to start swimming lessons. She finished the Pike class at the Y last week. I decided that since it was her last lesson I would get some pictures of her. She absolutely loved her swimming lessons. We will probably have to enroll her in another class because she is already missing it. She does still get to go play in the pool at the Y. Kaden is taking private lessons and will most likely keep taking them through July. He has learned so much this year. He can do the crawl, back stroke, breast stroke, and is starting to learn the side stroke.

Kasia's birthday party weekend was so much fun. Mom and Heidi hosted an awesome baby shower for me. All of the kids (Heidi and mine) were there and they all enjoyed helping me open my presents. It was a whirl wind of tissue and wrapping paper. I had a hard time keeping up with them, but couldn't bring myself to ask them to slow down. They were just having so much fun. We also went to Woodward Park in Tulsa to take pictures. Heidi took some really amazing pictures of the kids and even got some good maternity shots of me. We finished the visit off by celebrating Dad's birthday.

Kasia's Three!!!

It is so hard to believe that my baby girl is three. She has changed so much this past year. Around Christmas time she started talking so clearly. Caleb and I have been able to understand her for a while, but suddenly she was talking full sentences and paragraphs that everyone could understand. She also recently started riding her tricycle. Kasia's biggest accomplishment in my opinion is that she is 100% potty trained. She decided to start wearing panties 24/7 about a week before her birthday. I am so glad because I really don't want to kids in diapers. Since my daughter is three and indecisive, I let her have two different themes for her birthday party. She had a Disney Princess/Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party. It was so much fun. Caleb, Kaden, and I got her a John Deere Gator for her birthday. She and Kaden both love driving around in it.

Ultrasound pics - May 2009

On May 26th we had a 4D ultrasound done. It is amazing to me how much they have improved in the 3 years since we did Kasia's. Our little boy was so active while we were there. He kept moving his legs and showing off different sides of his face. He even smiled for a few pics. My official due date is Aug 19, but we already know that we are going to schedule to be induced around the 12th. Hopefully he will come early like his sister. Kasia arrived 17 days early. Early (not too early) is fine with me. Kaden was huge (9 lbs 6 oz) and Kasia was still 7 lbs 10 oz 17 days early. I can only imagine how big this one is going to be.
